Oil-Immersed Transformer          To reduce heating losses and minimize size and weight, the core is built from high-permeability cold-rolled grain-oriented silicon-steel sheets thinner than 0.35 mm. This allows the heat generated by core losses to be fully carried away by the circulating insulating oil, ensuring excellent cooling performance.        
         Oil-Immersed TransformerWhen subjected to short-circuit currents, large electromagnetic forces are produced in the windings, which can damage the transformer. An inter-turn short circuit may occur even if part of the winding is above the oil level. Additionally, during through-fault conditions, the overcurrent can deform the windings, causing mechanical damage to the insulation and resulting in inter-turn faults.
