Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics is a key university under the national "Double First Class" initiative, as well as the "211 Project" and "985 Project Advantageous Discipline Innovation Platform". Tianmu Lake Campus is located on the west side of Qianli Lake in Liyang City, Jiangsu Province. It starts from Meilingyu Avenue in the north, reaches Binhe Road in the south, borders South Street in the east, and ends at Yanshan South Road in the west. The campus is divided into North and South districts, with a total planned land area of 2500 acres and a planned above ground construction area of 1.3 million square meters. The Tianmu Lake campus is positioned as a demonstration zone for the development of civil aviation/aviation characteristics, an expansion zone for basic disciplines, a pilot zone for emerging interdisciplinary fields, and a service national strategic pilot zone.
